Our Story
Rescue Story is a Catholic apparel and lifestyle brand created to share God's love through faith-focused clothing and products that strengthen the wearer, spark conversation, and inspire evangelization.
We design, print, and package every order in our Ventura County, CA studio with reverence, intention, and a deep love for Christ. Rescue Story is more than products, though — it's a mission to help others encounter Jesus through simple, everyday moments.
God put this ministry on my heart in 2023, after a transformative encounter with the Holy Spirit and Jesus that brought me out of a life not for me and into one filled with grace and redemption. My journey back to God and His church renewed my heart and ignited a desire to share Christ's love with the world.
Thus, Rescue Story was born. I've always loved fashion, and after coming home to God, I began wearing T-shirts that proclaimed His love for me and others. I wanted to remember His goodness and mercy throughout the day and be a witness in the world like people were to me, leading up to my journey back to the Lord.
I found I loved sharing the Gospel through clothing, but I couldn't find Catholic t-shirts that told God's rescue story through designs I wanted to wear. So, I created my own brand and began wearing my shirts in public — to the grocery store, church ministry events, when meeting with friends and family, and practically everywhere. People loved what I made and wanted their own T-shirts so they could wear and share the Good News. Then, the Holy Spirit took it from there.
I've had so many beautiful experiences with others while wearing my designs. High fives on the beach in response to my Jesus T-shirt, shared hugs and tears in malls and cafes after someone read the St. Michael prayer on my tee, half-hour conversations in Costco about Jesus, and the list of Spirit-filled encounters goes on and on.
Rescue Story is my way of giving my life back to God, who gave me everything so I could finally live it fully for Him. I'm eternally grateful. I've been rescued. And, now I'm His. Praise God and I pray that your encounter with Rescue Story — and those you witness to by wearing our clothing — is just as blessed.

Our clothing becomes a doorway to Spirit-led encounters — a way for God to speak to and through us in profound ways.

Rescue Story is Catholic-owned and operated. We practice good stewardship of God's creation using eco-friendly garments, inks, and packaging whenever possible.

My Rescue Story
(as told to my parish family at a Good Friday meditation on the last 7 Words of Jesus.)
“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”
I’ve been afraid of imperfection almost all my life. Most of my years have been marked by a fear of saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing, and being the wrong thing. But Jesus has been relentless in showing me I don’t have to worry about being perfect. I don’t have to be perfect to be loved.
Living with the constant fear of making mistakes was too heavy a burden when I was young; I caved in on myself under the pressure and withdrew. My teenage years included moment after moment of people pleasing to get love. Married life and motherhood? There too, a fear of rejection if I didn’t embody perfection. Fast forward to two years ago and nothing had changed. I’d spent nearly five decades trying NOT to be wrong and trying to EARN love. It backfired. What I got instead was misplaced trust, a prideful attitude, and memories of poor choices and self-destructive behaviors.
But, thankfully, Jesus stepped in. Jesus, who I forgot about as a girl, who’s church I abandoned as a teen, whose sacraments I took for granted in adulthood, and who I no longer knew when I cursed at God after my dad’s death; He told me my life could be different.
After all my sins against myself, others, and Him, Jesus stepped in with an offer of love and forgiveness. He offered forgiveness when he sent someone to preach to me on a plane. He offered forgiveness when He sent His Spirit to nudge me toward Him before my dad’s funeral. He offered forgiveness when He sent someone into a bar to talk to me about the Catholic Church.
He offered forgiveness when He gave me the grace to call out to Him in my darkest moment. Jesus was relentless in His desire to forgive ME and He continues to be. He pulled me out of my misery and said I didn’t have to be perfect and I didn’t have to EARN His love. I just needed to be sorry, accept His forgiveness, and be His. So that’s what I did. That’s what I continue to do. To trust in the Mercy of the One who gave me everything. Who said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” Who through these words provided the love I always wanted. Now, I want nothing more than to give everything back to Him.
