Rescue Story Apparel is a Catholic lifestyle brand founded in Ventura, California, created to share the Gospel through faith-filled clothing designed to spark conversation and inspire evangelization.



Every garment is designed, printed, and packaged in our private studio with reverence, intention, and a deep love for Christ. This is more than apparel — it is a mission to help others encounter Jesus through simple, everyday moments.


Our Mission


Rescue Story was founded after my transformative encounter with Jesus Christ — an experience that renewed my heart and ignited a desire to share His love with the world.



The Rescue Story mission is simple:

Each piece is created to encourage evangelization, uplift hearts, and bring Scripture, sacred art, and beauty into daily life. Clothing becomes a doorway to grace — a way for God to speak through you without saying a word.

Rescue Story is Catholic-owned and operated. We practice good stewardship of God's creation using eco-friendly garments, inks, and packaging whenever possible.  



A portion of every purchase is donated to those in need, and every customer is remembered in our daily prayers. Your support helps fuel a mission that is rooted in hope, charity, and the New Evangelization.


My Rescue Story (Jana's Testimony)


“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”



I’ve been afraid of imperfection almost all my life. Most of my years were marked by a fear of saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing, and being the wrong thing. But Jesus has been relentless in showing me that I don’t have to be perfect to be loved.



From childhood into adulthood, I lived with a constant fear of mistakes — trying to earn affection, please people, and avoid rejection. Nearly five decades of striving left me with misplaced trust, pride, poor decisions, and behaviors that only deepened the emptiness inside.



But then Jesus stepped in.



Jesus — whom I forgot as a girl, abandoned as a teen, took for granted in adulthood, and even cursed after my father’s death — came searching for me. He offered forgiveness in unexpected places: through a stranger who preached to me on a plane, through the Holy Spirit nudging my heart before my father’s funeral, through someone who approached me in a bar to talk about the Catholic Church.



He offered forgiveness when He gave me the grace to cry out to Him in my darkest moment.



Jesus was relentless in His desire to forgive ME. He pulled me out of misery and showed me that I didn’t have to be perfect and I could never earn His love. I only needed to be sorry, accept His mercy, and follow Him.



So that is what I did. That is what I continue to do.



I trust in the Mercy of the One who gave me everything. The One who said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” Through these words, He gave me the love I had searched for my whole life.



Now I want nothing more than to give everything back to Him.
