Our Story

Rescue Story is a Catholic apparel and lifestyle brand created to share God's love through faith-filled clothing that strengthens the wearer, sparks conversation, and inspires evangelization.



Every garment is designed, printed, and packaged in our Ventura County, CA studio with reverence, intention, and a deep love for Christ. Rescue Story is more than apparel — it's a mission to help others encounter Jesus through simple, everyday moments.



God put this mission and business on my heart in 2023, after a transformative encounter with the Holy Spirit and Jesus. This experience brought me out of a life that wasn't for me and into a life filled with grace and redemption. My journey back to God and His church renewed my heart and ignited a desire to share Christ's love with the world.



Thus, Rescue Story was born. I've always loved fashion, and after coming home to God, I began wearing a t-shirt that proclaimed His love for me - and others. I wanted to remember His goodness and mercy throughout the day - and be a witness in the world as people were to me leading up to my reversion. 

I found that I loved sharing the Gospel through clothing but couldn't find Catholic t-shirts that told God's rescue story through designs I wanted to wear. So, I created my own and began wearing them in public — to the grocery store, church ministry events, when meeting with friends and family, and practically everywhere. People loved what I made and wanted their own shirts to wear and share the Good News. And, the Holy Spirit took it from there.

I've had so many beautiful experiences with others while wearing my Rescue Story designs. High fives on the beach in response to my Jesus t-shirt, shared hugs and tears in malls and cafes after people read the St. Michael prayer on my tee, half-hour conversations in Costco about Jesus, and the list of Spirit-filled encounters goes on and one.

Rescue Story is my little way of giving my life back to God, who gave me everything so I could finally live it for Him. I'm eternally grateful. I'm Rescued. And, I'm His. Praise God and I pray that your encounter with Rescue Story Apparel — and those you witness to — is just as blessed.

Each piece is crafted by hand to encourage everyday witness, uplift hearts and spirits, and bring the name and face of Jesus, the power of Scripture, and the beauty of sacred art into daily life. Our clothing becomes a doorway to Spirit-led encounters — a way for God to speak to and through us in profound ways.

Rescue Story is Catholic-owned and operated. We practice good stewardship of God's creation using eco-friendly garments, inks, and packaging whenever possible.  



Our company donates a portion of each sale to those in need, and we remember every customer in our daily prayers. Your support helps fuel a mission rooted in hope, charity, and evangelization.

My Rescue Story

(as told to my parish family at a Good Friday meditation on the last 7 Words of Jesus.)


“Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”



I’ve been afraid of imperfection almost all my life. Most of my years were marked by a fear of saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing, and being the wrong thing. But Jesus was relentless in His desire to show me I didn't have to be perfect to be loved.



From childhood into adulthood, I lived with a constant fear of mistakes — trying to earn affection, please people, and avoid rejection. Nearly five decades of striving after love left me only with misplaced trust, an abundance of pride, memories and side effects of poor decisions, and habitual behaviors that only deepened the emptiness inside.



But then Jesus stepped into my life and rescued me.

Jesus — whom I forgot as a girl, abandoned as a teen, took for granted in adulthood, and even cursed after my father’s death — was searching for me. He stepped into my life in a profound way — through a series of encounters — offering forgiveness in unexpected places: through a stranger who preached to me on a plane, the Holy Spirit nudging my heart before my father’s funeral, and a man who approached me in a bar to talk about the Catholic Church.

 All divine acts of Mercy that led to a night when God offered forgiveness and gave me the grace to cry out to Him in my darkest moment.



Jesus was relentless in His desire to forgive ME and save me. He pulled me out of misery and showed me that I didn’t have to be perfect to be loved and I didn't have to earn His love. I only needed to be sorry for what I'd done, accept His Mercy, and follow Him moving forward.

So that's what I did. That's what I continue to do.



I trust in the Mercy of the One who gave me everything. The One who said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” Through these words and our Savior's heart, God gave me the love I'd searched for my whole life.



Now I want nothing more than to give everything back to Him.
